Moynak Petroglyphs (Figure 1) The Moynak petroglyphs are located 2 km northeast of the village of Beszhyldyk in the Kurchum District, approximately 30 km from the confluence of the Kurchum and Irtysh rivers. The main concentration of petroglyphs is found on five low, flat-topped hills.

The total number of petroglyph-covered stones is about 400, but their distribution among the conditionally designated groups is uneven, due to the influence of natural factors. The highest concentration of images is observed in the second and third groups. The petroglyphs are mostly carved on vertical and sloped surfaces, with horizontal surfaces being less frequent. The surfaces with images are predominantly oriented south, less frequently east and southwest, and occasionally north.

Five surfaces with signs and symbols have been identified at the Moynak monument.

Surface 1 (Coordinates WGS1984: 48°36'47.64"N 83°51'53.10"E) has a horizontal exposure. Surface 1 contains one symbol (Figure 2).

Surface 2 (Coordinates WGS1984: 48°36'46.79"N 83°51'54.60"E) has a horizontal exposure. Surface 2 contains one symbol (Figure A.46).

Surface 3 (Coordinates WGS1984: 48°36'46.20"N 83°51'56.64"E) has a vertical exposure. Surface 3 contains one symbol (Figure A.47).

Surface 4 (Coordinates WGS1984: 48°36'44.78"N 83°51'56.69"E) has a horizontal exposure. Surface 4 contains one image (Figure A.48).

Surface 5 (Coordinates WGS1984: 48°36'40.81"N 83°51'56.46"E) has a vertical exposure. Surface 5 contains numerous images (Figure A.49).
